His net worth is estimated at $2.4-2.9 bn, built with an illustrious career spanning over 70 years with investments that doubled in value every ~3.5 years. His stake in Berkshire Hathaway surpassed $1.5 billion at the time of his death.

He was a philosopher, a teacher, and a sage. His wisdom extended beyond the realm of finance. He was a keen observer of human nature. In 1995, he delivered a famous speech titled "The Psychology of Human Misjudgment" discussing the standard biases that can lead to human misjudgment.
